The two people agreed in opinions, but then they fell in love with each other, and abandoned their original work. So the Emperor decreed to limit Niu Lang and Zhi Nu only can meet each other once every 7 days, but the magpie told the two lovers by mistakes that they could see each other every day. So the lovers were so happy to clink and completely forget their work. At last Emperor was so angry to decreed that they only could meet each other once a year on the bridge made by magpies across the Milky way on lunar July 7th night. On that day, Niu Lang and Zhi Nu talked with each other about happiness, sorrow, miss and so on. Then lunar July 7th is traditionally celebrated as the Chinese Valentines’ day for lovers with date, gift, travel, and so on.
