If we’re constantly behind or late, be more observing of deadlines. Take care of the task in advance to meet the deadline. If we know that we have to get something done before some time, we’ll be pushed to do it fast before.
Look at our schedule everyday to decide where to spend our time. If we have a plan and know what we are facing, we’ll be more likely to complete what we want. Review day’s schedule so that we have not penciled in too many things.
Part of our daily schedule should be to include time for interruptions that may pop up. If our schedule is set up with no leeway to allow for an unexpected traffic jam or phone call, it is possible that our entire day is off kilter. Plan for any interruption.
