How to import and export data files?

To offer you a more efficient and convenient service, you can import comma delimited files (CSV), RTF files and Text files to EfficientPIM. Also you can export information from EfficientPIM file to a comma delimited file, an HTML file, an RTF file or a Text file.

Methods for importing files:

1. Please save the file as comma delimited file (CSV) at first. And then click Import on Tools menu.
   (Tip1: You may select the type of information to import to ensure that the information can be opened at the right module.)
   (Tip2: If you want to import the information of contacts from Excel, please remember to select the Target Field to correspond to the Source Field.)
   
2. Besides, you can import RTF files or Text files to Notes module and Diary module. If you want to import one to Notes module, please click Notes button on the navigation panel at first, and then click Import New Note from File command on Actions menu. After that, you can import the file from its directory successfully. And it is the same to import an RTF file or a Text file to the Diary module.
   

Methods for exporting files:

1. If you want to export your information from EfficientPIM, please click Export on Tools menu. You can export it as a CSV file or an HTML file.
2. In addition, you can export RTF files or Text files from Notes module and Diary module. If you want to export one entry from Notes module, please click Notes button on the navigation panel at first, and then click Export Note to File command on Actions menu. After that, you can export it to the directory as you set. And it is the same to export files from the Diary module.
